My colleague wanted a new Net Connection for his home. Airtel and TataIndicom could not give a connection since his home was a bit internal. BSNL said there need more than 3 months for installation at his place.

Then we came to know about Reliance Broadband. Its newly launched and it's a so called WIRELESS connection. The rates were good compared to other service providers and more over they said it's wireless connection. No wires are to be brought in and out of your home. They would provide some kind of USB device that will get net for your system.

We were quite happy with this new so called wireless Technology. So my colleague applied for it. It costs 500 Rs for Installation and 700 Rs per month for 150Kbps unlimited connection.

Today the installation people came to install the same. Now comes the shocking news. The installation guy says that he has to install a Dish of size 10 x 10.

Poor Guy (that's my colleague) is now busy on the call for blasting at Reliance Call center as to why this Antenna or the Dish stuff was not informed to him before and also to his landlord asking permission for fixing the antenna.

Reliance Broadband -- Bad marketing strategy.
